We are fortunate in Brittany to have several fantastic golf courses with easy reach of Kerdelann.  Formule Golf is a company which owns several golf courses,  not only in Brittany, but also in Loire Atlantique and further afield.  The following are excerpts about the nearest courses from Formule Golf's website, and from Brittany tourism.  If you want detailed course information, such as layout and pictures, please go to their site!  

Course information 

golf de baden
On the very edge of the Morbihan Gulf and the Auray river, where the countryside meets the sea is Baden. A delightful setting provides plenty of golfing variety and beautiful scenery.  The Baden Golf Club offers you a quality 18-hole course among pines and broom, and next to the Auray river. Separated from the practice area by one-hundred-year-old oaks, the pitch and putt practice course welcomes all beginners. 18 holes par 72 (6720 yds), 3 holes par 9 (585 yds).

 

Rhuys-Kerver (Morbihan)       In the centre of a bird sanctuary in southern Brittany, play under the watchful eye of herons and egrets on a genuine links. Rolling greens and water features.  Its principal characteristics being the flatness of the fairways, the water hazards and the coastal countryside.  18 holes par 72 (6550 yds)

 

Ploemeur Océan (Morbihan)
Gazing out across the sea and the island of Groix, the extensive links of Ploemeur, caressed by soft ocean winds provide a wonderful experience for the nature lover and the golf connoisseur.  18 holes par 72 (6364 yds).

Saint Laurent (Morbihan)
Among the top 40 best French golf courses (magazine “Golf Europeen” – Novermber 2001). Saint Laurent is an exceptional golf course in the centre of a beautiful pine and oak forest.  It was a chosen venue for the French professional championships in 1988 and 1989, as well as for the National Open in 1995. The 9-hole course is suitable for players of all standards.
18 holes par 72 (6702 yds), 9 holes par 35 (2958 yds).

Val Queven (Morbihan)
Age-old trees give way to links that provide a range of situations while round about the undulating landscape of this former estate is quite striking.  18 holes par 72 (6679 yds). 

 

 

Golf du Lac au Duc (Morbihan)
This is a technically difficult golf course situated alongside the biggest natural lake in Brittany (570 acres). It is, however, suitable for all players whatever their handicap. 9 holes par 36 ( 3210 yds). 

 

Golf de Rimaison (Morbihan)
The magnificent grounds of this retired French chateau are a treasure trove of historic “old stones” and stunning views of the panoramic Blavet River Valley : while the spectacular elevation changes, rolling terrain, and well-manicured greens provide golfers of all levels a challenge they will never forget. Many choose to stay in the charming cottages that overlook our beautiful course and join our inexpensive Country Membership. Even in high season you can play under 4 hours ! 9 holes  (2824 yds).
